Group Fitness with Performex Studios Programs and Les Mills

What is Group Fitness?

Gone are the days where exercise to music meant lycra, high kicks and some woman in a G-string named Jane. Group Fitness means exactly that: exercising with a group of people to music. Each class has been carefully designed to provide you with a wide range of options to help you get healthy, fit and most importantly have fun. Ranging from weight classes, martial arts inspired classes, cycling, dancing and circuit classes there will always be something to suit your mood and fitness needs.

What do I need to bring?

A towel, drink bottle and free moving clothing including closed-in shoes will ensure you will be comfortable during the class.

Am I fit enough?

All of the classes offer options to suit any and every fitness level and we are also able to accommodate you if you have any injuries or carrying a baby on board.

What if I am not coordinated?

All of the classes can be done even with two left feet! Some will take a couple of classes for you to enjoy the full benefit of the workout. This is why we recommend trying each class at least 3 times before you make your mind up.

How long do I need to participate to see results?

This will depend on what you're hoping to achieve. Muscle strength, cardio fitness, improved flexibility as well as positive changes to your body shape are all things you can expect from group fitness. Please have a chat to one of our instructors who can help guide you to which classes will suit better to achieve the results you desire.
